To encourage and promote more tourism to Portland from Japan, Travel Portland worked in collaboration with the W+K Tokyo office, to produce a campaign around the idea of a virtual travel agency ,“ODNARATOOP TRAVEL,” led by a fictional, furry city ambassador named Ondarodude. I was asked to illustrate a colorful map of the city for a travel catalogue that showcased a variety of weird and whimsical PDX quirks. The illustrations were used in promotional materials on social media, an interactive site and at trade events.
